Northern Magic Circle President's Dinner February 15th, 2014

It seems such a long time since I last wrote on my blog as I have been so busy with one thing or another. 2013 just sped by and now at the beginning of 2014 there is a lot going on. My Northern Magic Circle President's Dinner will soon be here in February and the details are as follows:

I hope all my magic friends will be able to attend as it really will be a good evening.

The Modern Mystic League (Blackburn & District Society of Magicians) celebrates its Centenary in 2014 so look out for lots of events during the year. A book "The Centenary History of The Modern Mystic League", which I have been working on for some time, will be published towards the end of the year.

Helen and James are getting married in May and shortly after there is the Northern Magic Circle Convention in Harrogate when I pass on the Presidential Chain of Office to my successor, John Russell. In the meantime I have enjoyed being President immensely visiting different events and magic societies throughout the north of England.

It is also the Centenary year for the Brownies so Joan will be busy organising events for them. She is taking them to PGL this year which will be fun for them.

Along with magic I have also been practising my violin, researching the family tree and trying to maintain my interests in Spanish, Yoga, my computer, Bible study, Sherlock Holmes - so there are hardly enough hours in the day and I am never bored!
